SAMSON Materials Handling has established a suite of ship loading and discharge appliances tailored to the Ports & Terminals business handling dry bulk cargoes.
Specifically developed to offer both flexibility in operation from existing berths and high performance loading, whilst respecting the highest environmental standards for dust and pollution control.
Mobile Shiploaders, Stackers and Import Hoppers can be utilised independently on any suitable flat quay or integrated to a permanent storage facility, using mobile conveyors on the berth to retain flexibility. This allows the berth to be used for other duties when not required for bulk export.
Equipment tailored to port or terminal as well as material
SAMSON equipment is configured into a system tailored to the precise requirements for the port or terminal. By combining the benefits of the SAMSON receiving unit plus comprehensive options of travel systems and trimming equipment our mobile solutions offer the level of performance normally associated with fixed installations but with complete flexibility.
Take advantage of changing market conditions
The mobility and fast track availability offered by mobile equipment allows the port operator to react to changing market conditions taking advantage of often short-term contracts. In a rapidly changing export commodity market, the mobile option can be confidently selected in the knowledge that the equipment can be easily relocated or even resold if a contract is terminated.
