It is a place for industry professionals to meet and discuss future innovation, economic and environmental considerations – and develop partnerships that will help build a sustainable future. Drones – risk factors

Much like the rise in AI, the use of drones for various tasks has become a permanent fixture in our lives but unregistered and unrecognised drones are increasingly problematic for port security.
The risks posed by drones to ports include regulatory gaps, overseas threats, public access, and insufficient specialist security, in addition to the more general risks of unauthorised surveillance and potential for weaponisation.
These security risks require careful evaluation.
