Trelleborg Marine & Infrastructure is to deploy its cutting-edge AutoMoor technology at one of China’s premier container terminals, marking the first-ever implementation of an automated mooring system at a Chinese port

The system will significantly reduce vessel turnaround times, boost berth capacity, and improve vessel stability during cargo operations, says Trelleborg.

AutoMoor will be integrated into the terminal’s existing infrastructure, which serves the latest 400-metre-long MegaMax container ships.
