Final phase for navigational safety project
The OCEAN project is nearing completion, enhancing navigation safety for shipping across Europe. This initiative, backed by the EU and UKRI, focuses on improving situational awareness and reducing maritime incidents.
Key developments include a comprehensive hazard data platform and a real-time app for sharing sightings of whales and lost containers.
