Adriatic ports run cybersecurity training

A cybersecurity training session aimed at Adriatic ports officials

Nearly 200 technicians, operators and entrepreneurs from the Venetian port community have participated in a two-day training on cybersecurity and digital twin technology

The event was organised by the North Adriatic Sea Port Authority (AdSPMAS), with the support of the Association of Engineers of Venice, and funded to the tune of €4 million under the Interreg Italy-Croatia programme.

The 180 participants were drawn from major Adriatic ports including Trieste, Ravenna, Ancona, Rijeka, Split, Zadar, Dubrovnik and Ploce to attend the two sessions entitled CRESPORT – ‘Improving the Cyber REsilience and Security of Adriatic PORTs’ and DIGITPORTS – ‘DIGITal Twins applications for safer and greener Adriatic PORTS operations’.
