Sixte Cambra looks forward to welcoming delegates to Barcelona from 14-17 October 2015 for the 2nd Greenport Cruise & 9th Greenport Congress.
In an open letter to all participants Sixte Cambra, President of the Port of Barcelona, outlines the improvements at the Port which form part of an environmental strategy for improving the quality of port waters and enhancing air quality and waste management, all topics that will be featured on the Greenport Cruise and Greenport Congress programmes. Mr Cambra goes on to say that 'Ports today cannot remain indifferent to sustainability issues. A sustainable and environmentally friendly port will minimise the environmental footprint of freight transport logistics chains, making their products more competitive on the global market'.
