RightShip reduces vessel inspection age

RightShip has revealed a revised timeline for its vessel inspection age trigger, reducing the inspection threshold from 14 to 10 years

The change will be implemented through a four-phased approach, allowing more time for vessel owners and operators to adapt to new requirements.

This decision follows valuable feedback from key stakeholders, including INTERCARGO, the International Chamber of Shipping and the Union of Greek Shipowners, who represent a significant portion of the global dry bulk and general cargo fleet.
