Coastlink is a neutral pan-European network dedicated to the promotion of short sea and feeder shipping, and the intermodal transport networks through the ports that support the sector. It is a place for industry professionals to meet and discuss future innovation, economic and environmental considerations – and develop partnerships that will help build a sustainable future. New standard for smart ports
The new UNE Standard aims to transform ports into Smart Ports, improving management, efficiency, and value-added services. Puertos del Estado President Álvaro Rodríguez Dapena highlights its role in achieving intelligent, synchromodal ports and boosting competitiveness. To ensure compliance, Puertos del Estado is working with the National Accreditation Entity (ENAC) to develop a certification scheme for independent third-party verification.
