DP World has chosen construction company, Mota-Engil, to lead the development of the Banana Port in the Democratic Republic of Congo

This project, which aims to enhance the DRC’s role as a critical trade hub in Africa, marks a significant milestone in the country’s infrastructure development.

The port’s development is set to streamline trade processes, centralise administrative and customs operations, strengthen the government’s control over foreign trade and boost the country’s economic independence.
