The Green Ports & Shipping Congress will identify and prioritise the areas that ports-based organisations and shipping companies need to collaborate on to reduce emissions. Coastlink is a neutral pan-European network dedicated to the promotion of short sea and feeder shipping, and the intermodal transport networks through the ports that support the sector. It is a place for industry professionals to meet and discuss future innovation, economic and environmental considerations – and develop partnerships that will help build a sustainable future. Breaking ground on APMT MVII expansion
APM Terminals Maasvlakte II has broken ground on an expansion which will see capacity double at the Rotterdam terminal
The work, to be conducted in close cooperation with the Port of Rotterdam Authority and the CareGo consortium, will see APM Terminals MVII grow to become the largest and most efficient automated APM terminal in Europe.
The expansion of APM Terminals Maasvlakte II includes an additional 51 hectares with 1,000 metres of deep-sea quay, new truck and rail transhipment zones and fully electrified infrastructure.
