Breaking ground on APMT MVII expansion

APM Terminals Maasvlakte II has broken ground on an expansion which will see capacity double at the Rotterdam terminal

The work, to be conducted in close cooperation with the Port of Rotterdam Authority and the CareGo consortium, will see APM Terminals MVII grow to become the largest and most efficient automated APM terminal in Europe.

The expansion of APM Terminals Maasvlakte II includes an additional 51 hectares with 1,000 metres of deep-sea quay, new truck and rail transhipment zones and fully electrified infrastructure.
