Stornoway Port wins BPA development award

Stornoway Port in Scotland has been awarded the Port Development Award at the 2024 British Ports Association Conference

The port stood out among a number of entries for the completion of its £59 million Deep Water Terminal, the largest infrastructure project ever undertaken in the Outer Hebrides.

The award ‘recognises ports that have demonstrated significant development and improvement efforts’ and saw Stornoway fight off competition from DP World, Forth Ports Leith, Port of Aberdeen, Port of Blyth, Port of Cromarty Firth and Port of Milford Haven.
