Socep chooses Konecranes for crane upgrade

Romanian terminal operator, Socep, has retrofitted a Konecranes drive system onto one of its non-Konecranes ship-to-shore cranes at the Port of Constanta

This upgrade aims to enhance performance, extend the crane’s operational life and ensure continued access to spare parts and technical support.

Socep, operating two high-volume cargo terminals at the largest port on the Black Sea, handles 500,000 teu annually.
