Red Sea Gateway Terminal International and the Port of Tadjourah have teamed up to operate the multipurpose facility at the intersection of the Red Sea and Arabian Sea, on the East African coast

The partnership aims to boost the port’s capacity, making it a key gateway for cargo not only to Djibouti but also to the Ethiopian hinterland, supporting the region’s trade and economic development.

With an annual capacity of 5 million tonnes of general cargo, the port is strategically connected to Ethiopia via a newly developed road, linking it to Addis Ababa.
