The Los Angeles Harbor Commission has approved a lease amendment for a US$52 million infrastructure improvement project to expand on-dock rail capacity and reduce emissions at the Port of Los Angeles

Construction at the Pier 300 terminal, operated by Fenix Marine Services, is set to begin next year.

The project will add five new loading and unloading tracks at the terminal’s intermodal yard.
