Marport Terminal in Türkiye has taken receipt of four new ship-to-shore gantry cranes as part of its US$250 million modernisation project

The terminal in Istanbul handles 2.3 million teu annually, 12% of Turkey’s market share and 19% in the Marmara region.

The new SSG cranes with 25+1 container horizontal reach capability have a lifting height of 54 metres under the spreader, an outreach length of 73 metres and a weight of approximately 1,600 tonnes.
