IRS completes first port security training
Indian Register of Shipping has completed its first ever port security training programme
RClass Academy, IRS’s training arm, concluded the Port Facility Security Internal Auditor and Port Facility Security Officers training at the Rashtriya Raksha University, School of Integrated Coastal and Maritime Security Studies in Ahmedabad.
The training programme features unique components designed to address security challenges faced by ports today, such as sessions on cyber security and narcotics identification and control.
