DP World is investing £60 million to enhance the UK’s trading capacity with an order for four new quay cranes at its Southampton container terminal

These cranes, set to be the largest in Europe, will significantly improve the port’s ability to handle large container vessels.

Standing taller than Big Ben and weighing more than 2,000 tonnes each, the cranes are scheduled to arrive by mid-2026.
