Antwerp-Bruges sees growth despite challenges

The Port of Antwerp-Bruges has reported a total throughput of 210.5 million tonnes over the first nine months of 2024, reflecting a 3% increase from the previous year

This growth comes amid ongoing geopolitical and economic uncertainties, particularly impacting various cargo types, yet demand for container transport remains robust.

Container throughput saw a notable rise, increasing by 8.9%, with imports growing by 10.2% and exports by 7.9%.
