As a part of this exclusive tour of HAROPA Port, you will have the opportunity to see the diversity of port activities and the different types of vessels including oil tankers, ore carriers, container ships, pilot boats, tugs and more! Included will also be the chance to see the diversity of port infrastructures, such as the Screen Wall, the Francois 1er Lock, the Southampton Quay in the heart where Vincent Ganivet’s container has been installed.

Delegates will also have a chance to visit Port 2000, inaugurated in 2006 this wharf is entirely dedicated to containers. Constantly evolving, it continues to expand and accommodate ever larger vessels. CMA CGM Bougainville, Mol Triumph, etc. are some of the largest container ships in the world to be seen in the port facilities of Le Havre. There will be a chance to pass along the Normandy, Ocean Gate and the France Terminals, where the containers are loaded and unloaded. You’ll also get a close up look at how containers are handled by stevedores, from the ships to the quayside, as well as the service boats that dock these giants of the seas.

*Please note: exact locations of tour may change depending on weather conditions.
