La Paloma development to go ahead in Uruguay
Uruguay''s Transport and Public Works Minister, Victor Rossi, has said that a tender will be issued shortly for a $1bn deep water port. A Spanish consortium is reportedly interested in taking the project forward. The port would be at La Paloma, 210 kilometres east of Montevideo.
