Celebrating the 14th GreenPort Cruise & Congress, the next European edition of the event will be hosted by The Port of Valencia from October 16 to 19 2018.

GreenPort Cruise & Congress Europe provides senior executives with a meeting place to share and discuss the latest in sustainable development and environmental practice within sea ports, terminals and their associated logistics supply chains.

Port of Valencia is Spain’s leading Mediterranean port in terms of commercial traffic due to its dynamic area of influence. Known as the ‘maritime gateway’ for production and consumer goods to and from the entire Iberian Peninsula, the port also offers extensive network connections to major world ports including America and North Africa. Valenciaport connects 1,000 ports throughout the world and moves 40% of Spanish import and export trade.

The conference will cover a range of themes including air quality, energy consumption, carbon footprint and community relations. Session formats will include interactive presentations, discussion panels, case studies and networking opportunities, concluding with an exclusive tour of the Port of Valencia on the 19 October.
