The Gala Dinner will be held on the evening of the first day at The Ark which is located in the port area.
The GreenPort Congress Gala Dinner will be hosted by the Port of Antwerp on 9 October 2013 and will be held in The Ark. It is located right in the port area, no better way to enjoy the eve of the Conference in the heart of its host’s Port . The Ark was originally a prestigious floating theatre and has been, since 1993 the year in which Antwerp was European Capital of Culture, a polyvalent event hall. Next to The Ark there is ‘Het Pomphuis’, a place with a very rich history in the shipping industry. It was in its time one of the largest establishments in Europe, with shipping companies like Red Star Line, using its services. Delegates will be able to enjoy a magnificent view, espcially during sunset, from the Balcony on the Scheldt and see ships passing through in a peaceful environment.
