Svitzer expands its fleet with new electric tug

Svitzer will bolster its fleet with a new battery-powered electric tug, reinforcing its commitment to sustainability and port electrification.

The tug, set for delivery from Sanmar Shipyard in the second half of 2025, will add to the fleet in the Øresund Strait between Denmark and Sweden, delivering near-zero emissions during operations.
