Sustainable biofuel bunkering in Algeciras

Cepsa has supplied second-generation biofuels (2G) to Japan’s NYK Line using its innovative hybrid barge, marking a significant step in port biofuels and decarbonisation efforts.

The delivery of 1,030 tonnes of B24 biofuel to the NYK Line’s Atlas Leader was conducted at the Port of Algeciras using Cepsa’s electric port hybrid barge, Bahía Levante.
