Shoreham pivotal to HVO supply chain

Shoreham Port and Local Fuels are teaming up to develop a hydrotreated vegetable oil supply chain in the UK’s southeast

The port in Sussex has been trialling HVO in its cranes, forklifts and marine vessels for the past year, saving more than 600 tonnes of CO2 emissions.

To realise the full potential of HVO, however, the port says a consistent and cost-effective supply chain is essential.
