Shore power means greener cruising in Rotterdam

Rotterdam has taken a major step in port electrification with the commissioning of its innovative onshore shore power installation, reducing emissions and noise from docked cruise ships.

The OPS installation positions Rotterdam ahead of the European law requiring shore power use in ports by 2030.
