A pioneering project in Northern Ireland is advancing the use of alternative fuels to decarbonise global shipping corridors, making strides toward net zero emissions in the maritime sector.

Led by Larne-based B9 Energy Storage, the Maritime Power-to-X initiative is exploring scalable green methanol as a zero-emission fuel for the shipping industry.
