Malta benefits from Hyster battery power expertise

Hyster will supply Malta Freeport Terminals with a battery-electric empty container handler, marking a major step forward in port electrification at the operation.

The advanced handler, powered by 650-volt lithium-ion batteries, can stack containers up to eight-high and will help to drastically cut greenhouse gas emissions at the terminal.
