HIF Global launches e-methanol facility in Brazil
HIF Global has announced its first project in Brazil after signing a land reservation contract with the Port of Açu to develop a facility producing up to 800,000 tonnes of e-methanol annually
The agreement, formalised during the ROG.e energy fair in Rio de Janeiro, secures a large area within the port complex for the facility.
The Port of Açu, one of Brazil’s most significant ports, will provide vital support for the project’s development which is expected to attract significant investment and stimulate the local economy.
