Coastlink is a neutral pan-European network dedicated to the promotion of short sea and feeder shipping, and the intermodal transport networks through the ports that support the sector. It is a place for industry professionals to meet and discuss future innovation, economic and environmental considerations – and develop partnerships that will help build a sustainable future. Hands-free charging at APMT Maasvlakte II
APM Terminals and Rocsys have joined forces to deploy hands-free charging at Maasvlakte II in the Port of Rotterdam
The collaboration introduces Rocsys’ advanced charging systems to the terminal, supporting the port’s sustainability and electrification goals.
The partnership will enable round-the-clock hands-free charging of 30 Terberg electric automated terminal trucks, each equipped with Embotech’s Level 4 Autonomous Vehicle Kit.
