Halifax secures multi-million green funding injection

The Halifax Port Authority has secured up to CAN$22.5 million in funding from Transport Canada to accelerate its provision of alternative fuels and green shipping corridors.

The funding, provided through the Green Shipping Corridor Program, will help Halifax prepare for the future of sustainable shipping by investing in green fuels infrastructure and workforce development.
