Esbjerg and WindPort to boost offshore wind

Port Esbjerg in Denmark and Norwegian port operator WindPort are teaming up to develop Norway’s offshore wind industry

The collaboration focuses on supporting the Sørlige Nordsjø II (SNII) project, Norway’s first major offshore wind farm on the continental shelf, projected to host 60 –100 turbines with a total capacity of 1.5 GW.

Located in Mandal, WindPort is transitioning from its oil and gas roots to become a key hub for offshore wind.
