Emission-free tug for sand transportation

KOTUG has been awarded a contract by ROS to deliver a fully electric tug, marking a significant step toward emissions-free inland shipping and electrification in Rotterdam.

The electric tug, known as the E-Pusher, will power an emission-free sand transport chain between Maasvlakte and Rotterdam in partnership with Jansma Shipping.
