Höegh Evi, a global leader in marine energy infrastructure, has struck a deal with Port-La Nouvelle to develop a floating hydrogen import terminal

The terminal will play a key role in Europe’s clean energy transition by enabling the import of hydrogen from producers in the Middle East, North Africa and the Americas.

Scheduled to begin operating in 2030, the terminal will have the capacity to import up to 210,000 tonnes of hydrogen annually.
