Coastlink is a neutral pan-European network dedicated to the promotion of short sea and feeder shipping, and the intermodal transport networks through the ports that support the sector. It is a place for industry professionals to meet and discuss future innovation, economic and environmental considerations – and develop partnerships that will help build a sustainable future. Cavotec secures €7m shorepower orders
Cavotec has signed three major shorepower orders for Italian ports, marking a significant step towards the adoption of sustainable technologies
The orders, received at the end of 2024 and worth €7 million, underscore Italy’s commitment to transitioning to more environmentally friendly port operations.
Scheduled for delivery between early and mid-2026, these projects will significantly reduce emissions and improve air quality in Italian ports.
