Bellingham's US$2.8m port electrification grant

The US Port of Bellingham is expediting its move to electrification, thanks to a US$2.8 million grant awarded through Washington State’s Port Electrification Grants program.

This funding, part of the state’s US$26 million investment from the Carbon Commitment Act, will be used to install shore power infrastructure at the Bellingham Shipping Terminal.
