APM Terminals Maasvlakte II is set to enhance sustainability at the Port of Rotterdam by equipping its terminal with shorepower from 2028

The initiative – delivered through a partnership agreement with Rotterdam Shore Power, a collaboration between the port and Eneco – is expected to cut CO2 emissions by nearly 7,000 tonnes annually, alongside reducing nitrogen and particulate emissions.
