Air Products plans Europe’s largest blue H2 plant

Air Products has announced plans to build and operate a carbon capture and CO2 treatment facility at its existing hydrogen production plant in Rotterdam, the Netherlands

Scheduled to be operational by 2026, the facility will produce blue hydrogen for ExxonMobil’s Rotterdam refinery and additional customers through Air Products’ hydrogen pipeline network.

Once completed, it will be the largest blue hydrogen plant in Europe.
