ABP plans Barrow Port transformation
Associated British Ports has unveiled ambitious plans to position the Port of Barrow in England’s north-west as a leader in advanced engineering and renewable energy to help meet the UK’s net zero target
ABP’s masterplan describes how Barrow will take advantage of significant long-term investment in three key areas – an advanced engineering cluster, net zero cluster and local businesses, communities and environments.
Plans include a new solar park and upgrades to support the offshore wind industry.
