East Coast terminals hit by super-storm

New York has been hit by a 13ft tidal surge which has closed port terminals

The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey announced on Monday that it would be resuming normal operations on Tuesday in the wake of super-storm Sandy, an announcement that underestimated the ferocity of the downgraded hurricane.
