The 2017 GreenPort Congress will cover Port-City Integration, Sustainability reporting, Creating the port of the future, Port expansion and development, Impact of the energy transition, Carbon footprinting and creating responsible supply chains – can you afford not to be there. Book now to join port practitioners from across the world.

Through keynote addresses by experts from both within and from outside the sector, case studies by practitioners, discussions, working groups, workshops and a unique role-play scenario, the GreenPort Congress will stimulate discussion and invigorate stakeholders – port authorities, terminal operators, logistics companies, shipping lines, shippers – to re-evaluate their environmental and sustainability practises and to re-energise their environmental efforts to ensure they are an integrated part of daily operations.

Only by doing so will the port environment improve, particularly relevant to ports located in or close to cities, where the health and wellbeing of citizens are directly affected by the port’s operations.

New to this year’s programme: keynote addresses by experts from outside the sector including: Jan Peter Balkenende, former Prime Minister of the Netherlands, partner of corporate responsibility at EY, and chair of the Dutch Sustainable Growth Coalition, will set the scene at this year’s GreenPort Congress whilst Denise Pronk, will share her vision on sustainability at the Royal Schiphol Group.

Hosted by the Port of Amsterdam, practitioners from the following ports and terminals will also be participating:

Port of Rotterdam, Port of Hamburg, Port of Barcelona, Hutchison Ports Container Terminals, Ports of Stockholm, Port of Antwerp, Port of Dover plus many more.
