Terminal operators will discuss the proven environmental management techniques they use in daily terminal operations.

As part of two packed days in Valencia, conversation will turn to the environmental issues surrounding port and terminal operations. Representatives from four operators accounting for dozens of terminals worldwide including:

  • MSC Terminal Valencia;
  • Grimaldi Terminals;
  • Eurogate Terminals

Discussion in this session will seek to develop 10 key issues which can be implemented by terminals to achieve better efficiency, while improving environmental performance and reducing costs incurred.

This panel will form part of the session looking at the ‘challenges ahead and the practicalities of meeting them’, considering future implications of the changing fuel mix and how noise and air pollution can be reduced.
