The UN''s World Food Programme is currently making use of six Middle East ports to direct relief aid through to Iraq. Lebanon has recently joined Syria, Jordan, Kuwait, Turkey and Iran after agreeing to cut several port tariffs at Beirut by 50% and abolish others completely.
