We are delighted to announce that the dates for the 10th GreenPort Congress and 3rd GreenPort Cruise Conference 2015 have now been confirmed. The 10th GreenPort Congress will take place on 7-9 October 2015 and as normal the 3rd GreenPort Cruise Conference will take place the day before the Congress on 6 October 2015.

The 2015 event will be hosted by Copenhagen Malmö Port and we are pleased to confirm that it will also be co-located with Danish Maritime Days (DMD), the first edition of which was held in October 2014.

Furthermore, Gert Nørgaard, Manager Strategy & Planning, Copenhagen Malmö Port (CMP) added “As the logistics hub for the Baltic region, Copenhagen Malmö Port is looking forward to welcoming participants at the GreenPort Cruise Conference and GreenPort Congress to Copenhagen next year. CMP gives priority to safety, health and environment to obtain durable and sustainable development and we will show delegates some of these initiatives in both Copenhagen and Malmö.”

The GreenPort events will continue to be supported by the European Sea Ports Organisation (ESPO), EcoPorts and many other leading industry organisations.

Delegates will be given the opportunity to join the Welcome Reception on the evening of 6 October 2015, a Gala Dinner on 7 October 2015 and the ever popular Port Tour on 9 October 2015.

The 2014 event, which was hosted by the Port of Barcelona saw nearly 200 delegates from over 30 countries came together at the World Trade Centre in Barcelona to discuss and debate, in a series of working groups and plenary sessions, hot topics such as customers’, users’ and stakeholders’ perception of a green port and tools for green ports to respond to stakeholders’ expectations.
